One thing that I find sad is how some people don’t have something to look forward to in the future. So they pull in absolutely anything to fill in the void. The empty space inside of them. They see that there’s almost nothing ahead of them, so they feel the need for something now. 

If you have nothing to live for, don’t ever live for a person. Don’t make a damn person your everything. Don’t make a person your priority. You should be living for yourself, and no one else. Someone staying in your life is never promised. 

Someone staying in your life is never promised, so you’d better be damn grateful for the amount of time that they are in your life, no matter how long or short that time happens to be.
